This site does not use any analytics, largely because I do not care how many people visit this site on a daily basis, and I do not want to maintain or look at site analytics.

The server that serves this site does have a server log. It’s pretty impossible to run a web site and not have a server log. We generally do not review server logs for any reason. The only reason we would review server logs is to investigate any type of attack on the site. We make no effort to retain server logs, and — short of investigating illegal activity that impacted the site — we will never review server logs.
If you are a criminal trying to use this site as part of an online attack, you are clearly not a very good criminal. This site contains no sensitive information that isn’t publicly available, and is probably read by less than three people on any given day.
